CATS / Transition

The CATS Experience:
This program is for students with disabilities ages 18-21 who have graduated. Services will be provided in the community and at the CREST School with Job Coaches and ESE teachers. Instruction is provided in the areas of Career Experience (Employability Skills), Community Based Instruction, Independent Functioning, Self Determination Skills and Social Personal Skills. When enrolled in Career Experience classes students have the opportunity to participate in off campus work experience as well as work experience on the CREST Campus. In addition to providing direct instruction, the ESE Teachers provide support to Job Coaches and employers participating in the work program.
