Sean Ear

Mr. Sean Ear is an accomplished educator and administrator serving as Principal of CREST, a special day school dedicated to supporting students with disabilities. Now in his 16th year in education, Sean began his career at CREST during the 2009–2010 school year as a paraprofessional while earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida.

Driven by a passion for special education, Sean transitioned into teaching, gaining instructional experience across middle school science, middle school ESE, elementary self-contained, and middle grades self-contained classrooms. He expanded his impact as a media specialist and teacher on special assignment at the school and district levels.

Sean earned a master’s in educational leadership from the University of West Florida and was appointed Assistant Principal at Forest Ridge Elementary in 2021. He returned to CREST as Assistant Principal in 2024 before stepping into the Principal role in 2025.

A graduate of the July of 2022 cohort for the National Institute for School Leadership (NISL) executive program, Sean was honored with the Chamber of Commerce: Young Professionals inaugural 40 Under 40 Award and remains an active member of the Florida Association of School Administrators.
